Welcome to the Old Commercial Inn, Bishopsteignton. A free house serving local, draught beer and cider, wines and spirits along with hot and cold soft drinks.

We also have a daytime menu from 10am until 1pm.

Every Wednesday from 10am, come along and join us for our special morning.

Visit and purchase a Coffee and Cake and collect a stamp. On your 10th visit your Coffee and Cake choice is FREE! Includes Teacake.

Bishopsteignton Bikers.

The six Bishopsteignton Bikers set off from the Old Commercial Inn on the 27th of August 2025. Proudly donning our Old Commercial/Bishopsteignton shirts, we arrived in Santander on the 28th and headed for our hotel in Santa Colomba de las Arrimadas on the southern edge of the Picos de Europa in northern Spain.

We covered 1000 miles on day trips on our motorcycles, exploring the Picos and marvelling at the amazing scenery, returning every day to a super meal cooked by our host Jose Manuel in the hotel.

Everything went according to plan and we safely arrived back in Bishopsteignton on the 5th of September laden with wonderful memories.

Mondays Closed

Wednesday through to Sunday 10am-2pm

Tuesday through to Thursday 5:30pm-10pm

Friday and Saturday 5:30pm-11pm

Kitchen Open: Thursday through to Sunday 10am-1pm

Outside seating area.

In addition to inside, we have a spacious outside seating area with Bar (which will be in operation in the warmer months). Seating can be used at most opening times.
